ELGi line filters are compressed air filters designed to remove contaminants like liquids, oil aerosols, and particles from air lines to protect equipment and ensure air quality.

• Filtration levels: Available in multiple levels, including PFE (up to 1 micron), FFE (up to 0.1 micron), and CFE (up to 0.003 micron).
• Contaminant removal: They remove liquid water, oil aerosols, and solid particles from compressed air.
• Applications: Used in a variety of applications, with the CFE series specifically designed for industries where oil vapor is a concern, such as food and pharmaceuticals.
• Working principle: Contaminated air enters the filter, and the element captures large droplets, which are then drained gravitationally. Filtered air exits through the outlet port.
• Carbon filters: A separate activated carbon filter (CFE) works differently by flowing air from outside to inside the element, with the activated carbon absorbing oil vapor and odors.
• Maintenance: Features like internal float drains and service indicators help ensure proper maintenance.
